Perché dovresti avere un desiderio, quando tutto è così perfetto?

Amiamo la sensazione del libero arbitrio, limitata com’è;
abbiamo paura di essere privi della nostra volontà personale.
Questo è uno degli assi nella manica della mente.
Quando parliamo di resa, ti senti come se cedessi
la tua autonomia a un potere superiore,
e che non prendi più le tue decisioni;
pensi: “Potrei non essere d’accordo con Dio,
potrebbe non darmi ciò che voglio”.
Pensi che potresti rinunciare alla tua bellissima vita
solo per finire come un vegetale spirituale.
Ma nell’esperienza dell'abbandono
e nell’assaporare il frutto della resa completa
vedi che non hai nemmeno bisogno di fidarti,
sei una cosa sola con l’universo,
che è perfettamente in linea e in armonia con se stesso.
Perché dovresti avere un desiderio, quando tutto è così perfetto?
Se tutto è perfetto, perché dovresti volere il libero arbitrio?

We have a fear of being without our own private will.

You think you may give up your beautiful life

But in the experience itself, of surrendering
and tasting the fruit of surrendering,
you see you don't even need to trust.
You are one with the universe, which is
in perfect harmony and alignment with itself.
Why would you have a desire when everything is so perfect?
If everything is perfect, why would you want free will?
