D: Perché la tua segretaria è stata arrestata in Germania?
A: Sono stato per tre anni e mezzo in silenzio e isolamento. Non stavo incontrando persone, la mia segretaria era l'unica comunicazione tra me e la mia gente.
Se ci fosse un bisogno spirituale, qualsiasi guida spirituale per qualcuno allora mi avrebbe portato la domanda. Altrimenti lei aveva tutto il potere... e il potere corrotta.
E soprattutto perché era una donna, ha corrotto di più. Perché le donne sono state represse da secoli e non hanno ricevuto alcun potere, quindi è lì nella loro inconscio affamato... c'è grande desiderio di potere nelle donne.
Provano nel loro piccolo modo di assillare il marito, piangendo e lanciando cose, e capricci... questi sono semplicemente trucchi di potere femminile. Ma la mia segretaria era una donna. Quando l'avevo scelta era una donna innocente come qualsiasi donna, ma non si può dire ciò che è nascosto nella mente inconscio della gente.
Quando ha avuto il potere e il potere era grande -- milioni di dollari che stavamo usando per creare il comune, ed è venuta da una povera famiglia, era solo una cameriera in un hotel quando è venuta da me. Potrebbe non aver mai sognato cinquecento milioni di dollari. Naturalmente, la sete di denaro è sorta in lei. Ha rubato cinquanta milioni di dollari e ha aperto un conto corrente in Svizzera a suo nome.
Poi c'era questo grande potere perché la mia gente mi ama ed era la mia rappresentante, quindi qualsiasi cosa ha detto, l'hanno accettato, pensavano che venisse da me. È sempre riuscita a dire che viene da Bhagwan. Qualsiasi cosa volesse che facessero, veniva da me. E qualunque cosa avesse paura di dirgli, anche se gliel'avessi detto, lei rimase in silenzio. Ed è stato impossibile per me capire se sta raccontando alle persone le cose che dico o no. E non c'era motivo di sospettare.
Ha cimice la mia stanza solo per paura che forse qualcuno, il pulizie, il mio medico personale, il mio dentista -- qualcuno potrebbe dirmi, informarmi... aveva paura perché stava facendo qualcosa di sbagliato. Non solo ha cimice nella mia stanza, ha cimice quasi cinquecento altre case di Sanyasin. Tutte le persone intelligenti del comune: il cancelliere dell'università, il vicecancelliere dell'università, i professori, gli psicologi terapisti -- tutta l'intelligentsia che ha infastidito la casa di tutti perché temeva che queste fossero le persone che potrebbero essere concorrenti per lei.
Ora infastidire è un crimine. Solo per una casa, puoi andare in prigione per cinque anni e lei ha cimice duecento case. Mille anni di carcere solo per infastidire.
Stava registrando tutti i telefoni che uscivano dal comune o venendo nel comune, solo per paura perché ha rubato i soldi, ha fatto una piccola banda e poi è così che il crimine porta a più crimine. Ora aveva paura di suo marito perché sapeva di aver rubato cinquanta milioni di dollari. Lei ha cercato di ucciderlo, di avvelenarlo in una tazza di caffè. Ha cercato di uccidere il mio medico personale -- quattro volte lo ha avvelenato. Voleva che la sua persona fosse il mio medico personale. Mi chiedeva continuamente, che " Abbiamo medici migliori."
Ho detto: " Non è una questione di un medico migliore -- si prende cura di me da dieci anni e io sono perfettamente felice. E lui si è preso cura della mia salute e io sono perfettamente in salute. Quindi non c'è bisogno di cambiare." Poi ha iniziato a pensare di uccidere la persona in modo da poter mettere la sua persona come medico, nel caso volesse uccidermi. Allora quell'uomo potrà avvelenarmi.
Quindi ha commesso molti crimini. Ha tentato di uccidere uno dei giudici della contea di Wasco perché stava votando contro alcune delle proposte che stava facendo, voleva finirlo. Ha cercato di uccidere il procuratore di un'altra contea -- Contea di Jefferson, perché il nostro comune era una grande terra -- cento ventisei miglia quadrati. Metà era nella contea di Wasco, metà era nella contea di Jefferson. Quel procuratore della contea di Jefferson stava creando problemi. Piuttosto che combattere legalmente ha iniziato a combattere in modo criminale -- finisci la persona.
Ha bruciato l'ufficio di pianificazione della contea di Wasco perché ha dei documenti contro di lei, ha bruciato completamente l'ufficio, con tutti i loro registri di centinaia di anni.
Quando ho iniziato a parlare, la gente ha iniziato a venirmi a informarmi che " Qui sono successe cose strane." Nel momento in cui si è resa consapevole che sono informata sulle cose, è scappata con la sua cricca e si nascondeva nella Foresta Nera in Germania dove è stata arrestata.
Perché ho chiesto alle autorità delle forze dell'ordine, alla polizia di stato, alla polizia federale, dell'FBI.; Li ho invitati al comune, ho dato una conferenza stampa -- un invito aperto al governo che dovrebbero andare a indagare su tutto ciò che il mio La gente vuole informare e testimoniare. E noi gli abbiamo dato... sono rimasti per un mese nostro ospite e abbiamo fornito ogni testimonianza per tutti i crimini che ha commesso. E il più folle (*) è che ci hanno provato.... Sono stata la persona ad invitarli, sono stata la persona che è stata la loro ospite per un mese. Ci siamo presi cura di loro, noi... altrimenti non c'era modo per loro di sapere nulla che è successo a meno che non avremmo testimoniare. E in tribunale hanno iniziato a gettarmi tutti quei crimini. Dovevo semplicemente ridere.
Il mio avvocato ha detto loro che " Questa è pura follia perché ho portato sannyasins su suggerimento di Bhagwan all'FBI di segnalare tutti questi crimini e tu stai lanciando tutti quei crimini, scaricando la stessa persona che ti ha invitato e ha fatto tutti quei crimini disponibile per te."
Ora hanno preso Sheela e due, altre tre persone, ma mancano poche persone. Mi dispiace per lei perché quando l'avevo scelta la mia segretaria era una persona innocente, molto capace di fare le cose ma questa è la tragedia che tutti stiamo portando un inconscio di cui non siamo nemmeno a conoscenza. Che che tipo di animalità, la criminalità verrà fuori dall'inconscio quando c'è l'opportunità.
E questo è tutto il mio lavoro, la chiamo meditazione.
Che l'inconscio debba essere trasformato in coscienza in modo che nulla rimanga dentro di te che tu non conosci. Questa è l'unica possibilità per non cadere nell'oscurità e non fare cose che sono disumane, affinché non andrai nelle vie del male. L ' unica possibilità è che tutta la tua mente è semplicemente coscienza -- non c'è nessuna parte inconscio.
E questo è uno dei più grandi contributi dell'Est al mondo. Sigmund Freud, Carl Gustav Jung, Alfred Adler e altri psicologi in Occidente, solo in questo secolo sono riusciti a scoprire che c'è qualcosa come inconscio. In Oriente da cinquemila anni siamo consapevoli dell'inconscio. Non solo, sappiamo come trasformarla in coscienza. L ' Occidente ha accettato ora che c'è un inconscio ma non è ancora riuscito a trovare come trasformarlo in coscienza. L ' Est ha i metodi ma l'ego della psicologia occidentale impedisce di accettare i metodi già disponibili.
Migliaia di persone hanno meditato con me e sono giunte alla stessa esperienza di illuminazione che l'oscurità scompare, che si diventa pieno di luce. E dopo di che è impossibile cadere.

Q: WHY WAS YOUR SECRETARY ARRESTED IN GERMANY?

And particularly because she was a woman, it corrupted more. Because women have been repressed for centuries and have not been given any power, so it is there in their unconscious hungry... there is great lust for power in women.
They try in their own small way nagging the husband, crying and throwing things, and tantrums... these are simply feminine power tricks. But my secretary was a woman. When I had chosen her she was an innocent woman as any woman, but you cannot say what is hidden in people's unconscious mind.
When she got the power and the power was big -- three hundred million dollars we were using to create the commune, and she came from a poor family, she was only a waitress in a hotel when she came to me. She may have never dreamt of three hundred million dollars. Naturally, lust for money arose in her. She stole fifty-five million dollars and opened a bank account in Switzerland in her own name.
Then there was this great power because my people love me and she was my representative so whatsoever she said, they accepted it, they thought it was coming from me. She always managed to say that it is coming from Bhagwan. Whatever she wanted them to do was coming from me. And whatever she was afraid to say to them, even if I had told her, she remained silent. And it was impossible for me to figure out whether she is telling to the people the things I am saying or not. And there was no reason to suspect.
She bugged my own room just out of fear that perhaps somebody, the cleaner, my personal physician, my dentist -- somebody may say to me, inform me... she was afraid because she was doing something wrong. Not only she bugged my own room, she bugged almost two hundred other sannyasin's houses. All the intelligent people in the commune: the chancellor of the university, the vice-chancellor of the university, the professors, the psychologists, the therapists -- all the intelligentsia she bugged everybody's house because she was afraid these were the people who could be competitors to her.
Now bugging is a crime. Just for one house bugging you can go for jail for five years and she bugged two hundred houses. One thousand years' jail just for bugging.
She was taping all the phones going out of the commune or coming in the commune, just out of fear because she has stolen the money, she has made a small gang and then this is how crime leads to more crime. Now she was afraid of her own husband because he knew that she has stolen fifty-five million dollars. She tried to kill him, to poison him in a cup of coffee. She tried to kill my personal physician -- four times she poisoned him. She wanted her own person to be my personal physician. She was asking me continuously, that "We have better doctors."
I said, "It is not a question of better doctor -- he has been looking after me for ten years and I am perfectly happy. And he has taken absolute care about my health and I am perfectly healthy. So there is no need to change." Then she started thinking of killing the person so she can put her own person as my physician, in case she wants to kill me. Then that man will be able to poison me.
So she has committed many crimes. She has tried to kill one of the judges of the Wasco County because he was voting against some of the proposals that she was making, she wanted to finish him. She tried to kill the attorney of another county -- Jefferson county, because our commune was a big land -- one hundred twenty-six square miles. Half was in Wasco county, half was in Jefferson county. That Jefferson county attorney was creating trouble. Rather than fighting legally she started fighting in a criminal way -- finish the person.
She burnt the planning office of the Wasco county because it has some papers against her, she burnt the whole office completely, with all their records of hundreds of years.
When I started speaking then people started coming to me to inform me that, "Strange things have been happening here." The moment she became aware that I am being informed about things, she escaped with her clique and she was hiding in Black Forest in Germany where she has been arrested.
Because I asked law enforcement authorities, the state police, the federal police, F.B.I.; I invited them to the commune, I gave a press conference -- an open invitation to the government that they should come and look into everything that my people want to inform and testify. And we gave them... they remained for one month our guest and we supplied every testimony for all the crimes that she has committed. And the most insane(*) is that they tried.... I was the person to invite them, I was the person who was their host for one month. We took every care of them, we... otherwise there was no way for them to know of anything that has happened unless we were going to testify. And in the court they started throwing all those crimes on me. I had simply to laugh.
My attorney told them that "This is sheer nonsense because I have been bringing sannyasins on Bhagwan's suggestion to the F.B.I. to report all these crimes and you are throwing all those crimes, dumping on the same person who has invited you and made all those crimes available to you."
Now they have caught Sheela and two, three other persons, but few more persons are missing. I feel sorry for her because when I had chosen her my secretary she was an innocent person, very capable of doing things but this is the tragedy that we are all carrying an unconscious of which we are not even aware. That what kind of animality, criminality will come up from the unconscious when the opportunity is there.
And this is my whole work, I call it meditation.
That the unconscious should be changed into consciousness so that nothing remains inside you that you don't know. That is the only possibility that you may not fall into darkness and you may not do things which are inhuman, that you will not go in the ways of evil. The only possibility is that your whole mind is simply consciousness -- there is no unconscious part at all.
And this is one of the greatest contribution of the East to the world. Sigmund Freud, Carl Gustav Jung, Alfred Adler and other psychologists in the West, only in this century have been able to find that there is something like unconscious. In the East for five thousand years we have been aware of the unconscious. Not only that, we have been aware how to transform it into consciousness. The West has accepted now that there is a unconscious but it has not yet been able to find how to transform it into consciousness. The East has the methods but the ego of the Western psychology prevents it to accept the methods which are already available.
Thousands of people have been meditating with me and have come to the same experience of illumination that the darkness disappears, that one becomes full of light. And after that it is impossible to fall.
